Manchester City are currently one of the best teams in the top-five leagues. The Citizens are currently on a 19-game winning streak. They even managed to keep 16 clean sheets in 26 games. It’s hard to believe that Pep Guardiola’s side needs to strengthen the squad. But five players could join the club in the summer transfer window to help achieve even more glorious things.

Lionel Messi – Barcelona

Barcelona star Lionel Messi is one of them. The legendary player has been linked with Guardiola’s side since last year. He has less than five months left to make a decision. While City have rejected reports that say they have made contact with the player, it’s hard to believe they will not attempt to sign a player who doesn’t need to be described.

According to the latest report from 90min, Manchester City are considering a double offer worth over £100m for Borussia Dortmund pair Haaland and his teammate Giovanni Reyna.
