Al Hilal player copies Cristiano Ronaldo’s celebration after keeping Al Nassr title hopes alive

A Saudi Pro league player mimicked Cristiano Ronaldo’s trademark celebration after scoring a goal that could help the Portuguese icon pick up more silverware.
Ronaldo made the move to Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr in January on a whopping £177-million-a-deal deal following his acrimonious exit from Manchester United.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner has hit the ground running and quickly adapted to his new surroundings.
Ronaldo has netted 13 goals in 14 appearances for his new club while laying on two assists.
Despite his heroics, Ronaldo has been unable to help his side take top spot in the table as a tightly-contested title race sees Al Nassr sit three-points adrift of leaders Al Ittihad, with just three games left to play.
And the gap could have been larger had it not been for 27-year-old Al Hilal forward Michael.
Al Ittihad were leading 2-1 against Al Hilal on Tuesday when the Brazilian forward pounced to fire home a last-minute equaliser.
It was a tense wait for Michael who needed technology to confirm that his effort had crossed the line.
The goal provided relief for Ronaldo and co. who would have seen Al Ittihad all-but secure the title with a victory.
The draw has pulled Al Nassr closer to the Saudi table toppers and they will hope to close the gap further should Al Ittihad produce any further slip-ups.
And it appears that Michael would also like to see Ronaldo finish the season by lifting the title judging by his goal celebration.
After scoring the late leveller, he sprinted away and performed Ronaldo’s signature celebration.
While it was unclear whether he shouted ‘Siuuu’ or not, Ronaldo can be grateful for the Brazilian’s influence if Al Nassr go on to pip their rivals to the title.
