Andy Carroll spotted singing and dancing along to ‘West Ham are massive’ chant with Hammers fans

Former West Ham striker Andy Carroll has been spotted getting stuck in with Hammers fans singing ahead of their huge European clash.

The Hammers face Dutch side AZ Alkmaar on Thursday night – live on talkSPORT 2 – with just 45 minutes between them and the Europa Conference League final.

David Moyes’ side are currently 2-1 up after their win at the London Stadium last week, and despite their struggles in the Premier League this season, West Ham fans have been lapping up their run in Europe.

Now, Carroll – who left the club in 2019 – has been spotted joining in the away supporters’ pre-match buzz, dancing and singing along to their song that was synonymous with their Europa League campaign last season.

Wearing a cap and every day attire, the now-Reading striker is seen surrounded by other Hammers supporters, singing at the top of his lungs and punching his fists in the air as he goes along.

“West Ham are massive everywhere we go!” he bellows to the rest of the crowd.

Hammers fans waiting for the game to start were loving their former star’s antics on social media.

One supporter wrote: “What a geezer.”

Meanwhile, another fan said: “That’s class!”

Another added: “What on earth is he doing here?!”
