Arsenal defender Nuno Tavares ‘annoying staff’ at Marseille as he is unable to follow instructions

An apparent attitude problem is hindering Nuno Tavares’ development at Marseille, reports in France say.
Tavares moved to the south of France last summer on loan and hit the ground running with a host of impressive performances.
The 23-year-old netted three times in his opening four Ligue 1 appearances and became an important figure under new OM boss Igor Tudor.
It was hoped he could mirror the successes of William Saliba who spent a year on loan at the Orange Velodrome before returning to north London last summer.
But after a strong start to life across the Channel, the Portuguese star has found his reputation at the club plummeting, with negativity surrounding the left-back.
So much so that Taveres was banished to the bench for Marseille’s 3-1 win over Troyes on Sunday night in favour of Man City loanee Issa Kaboré.
Kaboré – a natural right-back – filled in for Tavares on the left flank with French sports newspaper L’Equipe claiming he has a better understanding of Tudor’s methods and expectations of his players.
It was reported that Tavares was kicked out of training earlier this month for displaying a poor attitude.
The report also claimed Tavares ‘annoys the club’s staff with his efforts’ and appears unable to consistently follow instructions.
This could leave his Marseille future in doubt with a return to Arsenal anticipated at the end of the season.
The French side have just seven games remaining this season as they battle for a place on the podium with Lens and Monaco.
But it is unknown whether Tavares will make a return to the starting line up before the end of the season.
He has two years remaining on his existing deal at the Emirates but it remains to be seen whether Gunners boss Mikel Arteta will call upon him the same way he did for Saliba.
Tavares has scored six goals in 34 appearances across all competitions this season
