If he’s to pick up three points this weekend then the Norwegian knows that his team will need to be on song.

Rashford is a doubt for the clash with Liverpool due to a dead leg

Bruno Fernandes is a doubt for the clash with Liverpool, according to Solskjaer.

The head coach said that another two or three players could also miss out, with Marcus Rashford one of them.

The forward hobbled off during the Champions League victory over Atalanta with a dead leg and it remains to be seen if he’ll be fit to return.

Fred also came off against the Italian side and is therefore a doubt.

Anthony Martial could also miss out after missing the matches against Leicester City and Atalanta this week, while Raphael Varane is out with a groin strain.

Curtis Jones is back in contention following injury

Klopp has been boosted by the return of Curtis Jones ahead of Sunday’s clash.

The midfield missed Liverpool’s last two matches against Watford and Atletico Madrid as a result of an injury picked up on international duty, however after confirming that the 20-year-old had returned to training, the head coach revealed that he’d be in contention.

Harvey Elliott remains a long-term absentee, while Thiago Alcantara is unlikely to return due to an ongoing calf issue.
