Christopher Nkunku will be a Chelsea player next season after the Blues reached a full agreement with RB Leipzig, sources have told Football Insider. Fabrizio Roman also confirmed the 25-year-old’s situation. The Italian transfer expert revealed that the deal is “100%” wrapped up with all parties despite no official announcement from the player or either club.

Balogun Wanted By Both Milan Clubs

Both AC and Inter Milan are keen on Arsenal striker Florian Balogun, who has enjoyed a prolific season on loan at Stade Reims. That’s according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, who claim that Milan’s longstanding interest in the forward has been matched by their rivals. Balogun is expected to return to Arsenal at the end of the current season.

Spurs determined to extend Kane contract

Tottenham are determined to extend Harry Kane’s contract and are prepared to continue their efforts into next season, if necessary, according to The Athletic. Initial dialogue has taken place, but no advanced talks have started and Spurs are said to be “not even considering a sale” at the moment.

Kane – who recently overtook Jimmy Greaves as the club’s all-time leading goalscorer – has one year remaining on the contract he signed in 2018.

Fulham manager Marco Silva has emerged as the top candidate to replace Antonio Conte at Tottenham, according to The Sun. The Italian’s contract expires this summer and it is largely expected that he will leave north London. The report claims that Spurs view Silva as the leading option to fill the vacancy. Silva’s contract at Fuham expires at the end of the season.

The best football competition across Europe is getting to it’s most exciting part of the season, as the round of 16 would be concluded tomorrow. So far, six teams have qualified for the quarter finals and this article is focused on detailing them to you.

Following City’s emphatic 7-0 win over RB Leipzig today, the Manchester club are now quarter finalists of the competition and many rumour that they would be the eventual champions. Porto failed to overcome a 1-0 loss suffered in Milan three weeks ago, and after their 0-0 draw to Inter Milan tonight, they are out of the competition.

The teams that have qualified for the quarter finals so far are Chelsea, Benfica, Bayern Munich, AC Milan, Inter Milan and Manchester City. Tomorrow’s games would be the last of the round of 16 series for this season. It would see Liverpool play Real Madrid in Spain tomorrow (a game where they are trailing 5-2 on aggregate), and Napoli host Frankfurt in Italy.
