Chelsea Set To Launch ‘Monster’ £84M Bid For Federico Chiesa

Chelsea have preparing to launching a “monster” £84million bid to get Federico Chiesa from Juventus in January transfer window, according to reports in Italy.

Chiesa, 24, is currently on loan at Juventus from Fiorentina but the Old Lady have an agreement to sign him on a permanent basis at the end of the season.

The Italian star, who showcased series of impressive display at Euro 2020, become primary target for Thomas Tuchel, who told Blues chief Marina Granovskaia to lure the Italian to west London. 

And according to The Italian outlet Calciomercato, Thomas Tuchel’s side are weighing up an £84m (€100m) move for the 24-year-old. 

The move would come as no surprise with Christian Pulisic, Hakim Ziyech and Kai Havertz all struggling with either inconsistency or injuries. 

Chiesa, who is widely admired for his explosiveness, versatility and the ability to use both feet to high efficiency, has scored three goals and assisted three in 15 games this season.

Back in September the Italy international scored the only goal of the game when Chelsea lost away to Juventus, but he was unable to replicate a similar performance as the Blues thrashed the Serie A giants 4-0 at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night.

Liverpool eyeing January move for Christian Pulisic

Liverpool have expressed interest in signing Chelsea playmaker Christian Pulisic in the January transfer window, according to reports in Spain.

The USA skipper, who joined Chelsea in the summer 2019 after the Blues striking a £50m deal with Borussia Dortmund in January that year, struggled with various injuries problem.

Despite various injuries problem, Pulisic still managed to netted 19 goals and contributed 14 assists in 83 appearances for the Blues, but has regularly been frustrated by injuries in west London.

The competition for places in Thomas Tuchel’s side is fierce and both Liverpool and Barcelona have therefore reportedly identified Pulisic as a transfer target.

El Nacional claims Chelsea will demand £42m (€50m) for Pulisic, who knows Klopp, having joined Dortmund’s academy while he was manager in early 2015.

Chelsea Unwilling To Sell Hakim Ziyech To Borussia Dortmund

Chelsea are not too keen on offloading Hakim Ziyech in January amid interest from Borussia Dortmund, and Barcelona.

According to a recent report from Italian outlet Calciomercato, The Blues are prepared to keep hold of the services of Hakim Ziyech in the upcoming January transfer window.

The most technically gifted winger has been monitoring by Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund but it appears the reigning European champions are not yet ready to offload him.

The Moroccan international, who faced a little bit of sendback after  made impressive start to the season, appeared to be back to his excellent form as he has 4 goal contributions (1 goal, 3 assists) in his last four starts for Chelsea.
