Conor McGregor reveals delight as his beer makes it to Wrexham and Paul Mullin praises him for ‘unbelievable’ £10,000 charity donation

Conor McGregor is celebrating a successful night in Wrexham where his beer was on sale ahead of a high-stakes National League match.
‘Notorious’ revealed last week that he will be selling Forged Stout outside The Racecourse Ground to raise money for Your Space – a local charity that helps children with autism.
The night seemed to go perfectly for everyone involved as McGregor’s beer was a hit, Your Space received a £10,000 donation from the UFC superstar and Wrexham moved one step closer to promotion by beating Yeovil 3-0.
He tweeted: “So great to see Forged Stout visit Wrexham AFC and The Turf Hotel to support the amazing Your Space foundation which raises awareness and support for Autism. Great day, great town, great cause!”
The former dual-weight UFC champion also shared a video from the fundraising event which included a message from Wrexham striker and Your Space ambassador Paul Mullin.
He said: “Your Space is obviously a charity which is really close to my heart.
“It helps autistic children in the community which is brilliant. And obviously, my son being autistic it really touched me when they got in touch and asked me would I like to become a part of it and help them out.
“Really, I jumped at it because I went down to see the work they do and it’s phenomenal. It’s something I wish could be in every area, especially in Liverpool, I wish there could be one for my son that’s close by but going there was brilliant.
“Just to see the opportunities they give the kids and allow the partners to leave them, go to work still and they can obviously enjoy their time in a comfortable environment that they find enjoyable which is unbelievable.”
Wrexham’s leading goal scorer was blown away by McGregor’s generous donation to a small charity doing big things for families in the local area.
Mullin added: “Conor’s donation is absolutely phenomenal, we couldn’t be any more grateful for it. You know, Your Space is only a small, local charity but for Conor to donate his money to that is unbelievable.
“I was totally taken aback by it but the work they do there it earns good donations. But thank you very much to Conor because he didn’t have to do that, he’s gone out of his way to help a really brilliant organization and charity.”
