Erik ten Hag hints at Marcus Rashford return and gives update on Manchester United trio carrying knocks

Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has hinted that Marcus Rashford could be set for a return to the side for their clash against Sevilla.
The 25-year-old has been absent from the Red Devils’ last two games as a result of a groin injury.
He came off injured in the 2-0 win over Everton on April 8, but was spotted back in training on Wednesday.
Rashford, who is United’s top scorer this season with 27 goals, was included in the 21-man travelling squad for Thursday night’s clash, live on talkSPORT.
Luke Shaw, Marcel Sabitzer and Tyrell Malacia have made the trip to Spain with the squad too amid their recent knocks.
However, Ten Hag is undecided over whether he’ll play his star man or the other stars nursing knocks.
When asked about the return of injured players, he said: “They are available, that’s why they are in the aeroplane. I will take my decisions tomorrow. Today we train, we will see what the reaction is.”
On Rashford’s return to fitness, he added: “He had one session with the team. He had some sessions before individually.”
The semi-final is finely poised at 2-2 with Man United throwing away a 2-0 lead in the first leg at Old Trafford.
With a spot in the semi-finals on the line, Ten Hag said they have to learn from their mistakes in the second half last week.
“It’s clear how the game went, it’s a tie over two legs. I think we played over 60 minutes quite well, and then the last 30 minutes we dropped a level.
“We became passive and it’s not acceptable, we know that. You see what happened when you are playing a game for only 60 minutes, you can’t do it and when you do it you get punished.

“We have to be aware of it, and I think the lesson that we spoke about, we’ve taken the lesson on Sunday [2-0 win against Nottingham Forest] and then you have seen a different Man United. Tomorrow we have to go again.”
Rashford missed the first leg due to injury, but has played a key role in their Europa League progression this season.
He has scored six goals in eight games throughout the competition, and will likely be key to their chances of reaching the semi-finals should he feature.
