Finidi George’s first words as Enyimba manager


After replacing Fatai Osho in Aba, Finidi George says he is delighted to be appointed as the new boss of Enyimba International ahead of next season.

 

The former Nigerian international was appointed as the Head Coach and he will take charge of the two seasons.

 

In his first interview as head coach of the team, a delighted Finidi:

 

“I have to say it’s a great opportunity for the club to have this confidence in me. I want to thank the chairman, the members of the board, and the supporters for even thinking about me. On my own part, ”

 

“I will be here to just work and do the job. It’s never going to be easy but I’m here to work and make the team win,” he said.

 

The Enyimba head coach will be on the bench for the CAF Confederation Cup second preliminary round fixture against Senegalese side Diambers FC in mid-October.
