Frank Lampard looks to pull off huge Champions League shock against holders in quarter-final

Frank Lampard’s second game as Chelsea interim boss sees the Blues travel to Spain for a huge Champions League clash against Real Madrid.
These two met at this stage of UEFA’s premier competition last season, and the LaLiga giants lifted the trophy after brushing Thomas Tuchel’s men aside in the last eight.
But despite this, the west Londoners have only lost one of their seven games against Real Madrid, and with this their last chance to earn Champions League football for next season, you would expect the Blues to go for it.
Meanwhile, Carlo Ancelotti’s side stand next to no chance of catching Barcelona in the LaLiga title race, so they will be fully focused on making it to the semi-finals.
In the last round, Real dispatched Liverpool 6-2 on aggregate and will be confident of sealing a big lead at the Bernabeu before heading to Stamford Bridge to finish the job.
