Kate Abdo apologises to Fikayo Tomori for Micah Richards and Jamie Carragher’s pronunciation of his name

Thierry Henry couldn’t contain his laughter as Kate Abdo apologised to Fikayo Tomori for an interview where both Jamie Carragher and Micah Richards made a hash of his name.
Tomori helped Milan reach their first Champions League semi-final since 2007 by overcoming Napoli 2-1 on aggregate in a tightly-contested tie and agreed to the interview afterwards.
Tomori spoke to the CBS gang consisting of Abdo, Carragher, Richards and Henry.
But when it came to Carragher’s question for the former Chelsea defender, he referred to him as ‘Fikori’.
It didn’t get any better when it came to Richards who also used the same term when speaking to Tomori.
Not one to let that one slide, Abdo closed the interview making reference to the pair’s mispronunciation.
“We do apologise as well for Micah and Jamie’s chronic mispronunciation of your name time and time again,” Abdo said.
The pair burst out laughing while Henry could be heard shouting; “I got it right.”
Carragher then replied: “I was worried I was gonna swear!”
But Tomori took it all in good faith as he laughed along with the team.
Tomori has again produced a solid season for the reigning Serie A champions and faces another fight for silverware as Stefano Pioli’s side continue to build their way back to the summit of European football.
Milan are currently fourth in the table and face a battle to qualify for next season’s Champions League.
There is, of course, the added opportunity of qualifying by winning this season’s competition where they will face the winner of Benfica and city rivals Inter on Wednesday.
