Laura Woods hailed for ‘special’ gesture that made Wolves TV presenter’s year

Laura Woods’ kindhearted gesture ensured one lucky person had a night to remember.
Wolves TV presenter Gemma Frith was the recipient of a dress that Woods was giving away after presenting the glitzy Sports Industry Awards in London.
Woods offered one of her dresses for free after the event and Gemma quickly claimed her prize.
With a night at Wolves’ Pride of the Pack internal staff awards approaching, Woods kindly posted the dress via next day delivery so that Gemma had her newly-acquired frock for the showpiece event.
And when the big night arrived, Gemma was quick to show Woods and her followers what the fuss was all about as she posed pitchside at Molineux before taking centre stage at the ceremony.
Gemma posted the snazzy pics on Instagram alongside the caption: “Channelling my inner Laura Woods tonight… literally!

“Thank you soooooooo much @laura_woodsy! I still can’t believe it. You’ve made my year.
“A huge huge HUGE thank you again for this beautiful dress. You made my night so special.”
Woods later replied to the post: “Oh my god Gemma you look gorgeous!! So chuffed! Have an amazing night, you look a million dollars.”
The gesture earned Woods high praise from followers who had kept tabs on the act of kindness.
One user wrote: “Bravo Woodsy! What a fantastic gesture!”
Another added: “Class that Woodsy.”
A Twitter user wrote: “Often it’s the little things that are the biggest illustration of someone’s true character. Another case in point.”
Another fan added: “Sometmes people do things that makes them stand out as truly beautiful human being, Laura….you are one of those stars.”
“What a wonderful human being you are Laura Woods,” wrote another follower.
