Nate Diaz chokes out man in street brawl, Dana White thought it was Logan Paul, and Jake Paul posts response

Nate Diaz was filmed choking out a man in the street during a wild brawl in New Orleans.
The former UFC star was in the city to support teammate Chris Avila, who was fighting on a Misfits boxing card at the XULA Convention Center.
Diaz had already gone viral for throwing a bottle at Netflix reality star Chase DeMoor during the event, with security forced to intervene.
DeMoor, who has featured in Too Hot To Handle and Perfect Match, was disqualified from his own fight against Stevie Knight after sparking an in-ring brawl.
It appears the confrontation with Diaz spilled over outside the venue and a video has emerged showing the MMA star putting a man to sleep with a chokehold during the melee.
Meanwhile, UFC president Dana White was seen reacting to the footage on a live stream with Adin Ross.
White questions whether the unconscious man is YouTuber-turned-boxer Logan Paul, before being told it was a lookalike.
“His head bounced like a f****** basketball,” White is heard saying.

It has been speculated the victim was Rodney Petersen, who is famous for his resemblance to Logan Paul and posted social media content confirming his attendance at the event.
Peterson wrote on his Instagram story: “Got attacked by Nate Diaz. Wtf I was like bro chill. He was like I Someone Say Kill?”
Diaz is set to fight Logan Paul’s brother, Jake, in a boxing match on August 5.
Jake and Logan Paul responded to the clip on Twitter by posting their own, tongue-in-cheek response.
“Here we are going to teach you what to do if a homeless Stockton man tries to come at you in the middle of the street,” Jake said.
“If you look anything like a Paul brother, keep your eyes peeled because the streets are hot.
“I’ll be demonstrating the MMA fighter and this will be the poor victim on the side of the street.
Diaz has not fought professionally since UFC 279 when he beat Donald Ferguson in September 2022.

The American has a total of 21 wins from 36 professional bouts, including iconic fights with Conor McGregor.
Arch-rival McGregor appeared to find the whole thing rather amusing.
The Irishman tweeted: “Hahaha Nate on a rampage tonight! Let’s go Nate! Hahaha.”
Meanwhile, DeMoor accused Diaz of running scared after throwing the bottle, but did not comment on scenes outside, which appeared to show the Netflix star caught up in the fracas.
DeMoor said: “Nate Diaz decided to get mad and throw a prime bottle on me, that’s cute bro.
“Just next time don’t run. And stop spending your nights in the club trying to use your dried up MMA career to pull college girls while you’re out in New Orleans.”
