So Impressive: Watch Bernd Leno brilliant save against Crystal Palace

Arsenal supporters may feel deflated following Mikel Arteta’s men dropped two points at home against Crystal Palace last night, but the Gunners had goalkeeper Bernd Leno to thank for the visitor not leaving the Emirates with all three points.

Aiming to win a fourth consecutive Premier League game for the first time since 2018, Arsenal had a to settle for a point on a frustrating night for the Gunners, who were much less effervescent than in their more improved performances in recent weeks.

The Eagles had the better of the chances, with only the crossbar preventing James Tomkins from converting Ebere Eze’s free-kick.

Christian Benteke did, however, manage to test Arsenal keeper Bernd Leno, and the Germany international rose to the challenge with a fine save to thwart the striker’s header.

Leno, 28, who made a couple of top-class saves for his side, including one on the stroke of half-time where his outstretched arm kept out a Christian Benteke header, has been one of the most consistent Arsenal performers during a mixed season so far this term.
