Thomas Partey and Gabriel Martinelli are leading Arsenal final training as Mikel Arteta’s men put through their paces at the club’s London Colney training based on Wednesday.

The Gunners were back out on the grass at club’s training based following their 2-0 win over Newcastle United in the third round of the FA Cup last weekend, with the focus now turning towards Thursday’s Premier League clash with Crystal Palace at Emirates stadium.

Mikel Arteta & co. will be aiming to continues their momentum run form by extend their winning strike against Palace tonight to five win in a row after won their last four matches in all competitions, keeping three clean sheets on the bounce during that time.

The Gunners are just six points off the top four and it appears they have used new West Brom boss Sam Allardyce’s comments that Arsenal were a relegation rival as an extra bit of motivation.

Next up for Mikel Arteta’s men are home tie against Crystal Palace, who sitting 13 position with 22 points in league standings and ahead of game Mikel Arteta & co. are handed an huge boost with summer signing Gabriel Martinelli, who sustained an ankle injury last took major part during Wednesday’s training at club training session.

The Brazilian forward sustained an ankle injury problem during warming up ahead of Arsenal’s 2-0 victory over Newcastle United in the FA Cup. He was named in the starting lineup but was replaced by Reiss Nelson due to his injury.

Immediately after the game head coach Mikel Arteta confirmed that the 19-year-old would undergo a scan of his ankle after which the severity of his injury would be revealed.

It was initially feared that the Brazilian would be out for a significant period of time but results from the scan have indicated that the injury is not serious and that the player will be able to return to full training shortly.

However, Gabriel appear at London Colney on Wednesday morning, undertaking individual training in high spirits before involved in final preparations with the rest of Mikel Arteta’s squad for Crystal Palace clash.

Thomas Partey, who are involved in training with the rest of the Mikel Arteta’s squad in couple of weeks after returning from thighs injury sustained against Tottenham earlier of last month, took major part on Wednesday and is expected to be in contention for tonight clash.

Nicolas Pepe was also in high spirits and is hoping of taking his commitment in Wednesday’s training to match against Roy Hodgson’s men tonight while Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who broken the deadlock against Newcastle United last weekend, hoping of taking that spirit into the front of goal.

The Gunners captain has been struggling a lot this season, scoring just three league goals, with a particular low point coming against Burnley last month when he scored the decisive goal at the wrong end. 

But his goal against Newcastle United last weekend and particularly his side recent form, with four wins on the trot in all competitions, will helping Aubameyang back to his best in front of goal.

Alexandre Lacazette, Bukayo Saka, Emile Smith-Rowe, Granit Xhaka, Reiss Nelson, Willian, Maitland-Niles included Gabriel Magalheas also participate in Gunners final preparations for Crystal Palace clash on Wednesday.
