Tierney In For Cedric; Saka, Odegaard to Start: Predicted Arsenal Lineup againstgainst Manchester City

Kieran Tierney should return to the starting lineup while Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard start again when Arsenal face Manchester City in the Premier League.

Mikel Arteta’s & co. will be aiming to end City’s winning streak when the two teams play lock horns in Matchweek 25 of the Premier League at the Emirates stadium this evening.

Ahead of the game, Mikel Arteta hasn’t been dealt with any fresh injury blows with summer signing Thomas Partey and goalkeeper Runar Alex Runarsson are only players who are not available for the game, as confirmed by the team news section on Arsenal’s official website.

Mikel Arteta has names a strong lineup for their Uefa Europa League clash with Benfica on Thursday night and there are unlikely to be many changes made to the team that started in mid-week.

Goalkeeper Bernd Leno is the undisputed starter between the sticks for the Gunners, where he could be in for a busy evening. Luiz, who made impressive in Gunners last two game, is expected to continue as one of the two centre-backs against City.

Gabriel Magalheas, who return to starting lineup against Leeds last week, is expected to partner his compatriots Luiz at the hearts of Arsenal defence once again while Rob Holding should name on bench when Mikel Arteta’s team host City this evening.

With no Partey to call upon, there is little room for rotation in the middle of the park meaning Arsenal should once again go in with the midfield double pivot of Granit Xhaka and Dani Ceballos, both of whom have been in good form of late.

On-loan Madrid attacking midfielder Martin Odegaard, who was Arsenal’s best player midweek game against Benfica and should get another start in the No. 10 role for the Gunners against Manchester City.

This would mean Emile Smith Rowe moves out to the left flank once again. On the right-wing, Bukayo Saka has been the preferred starter ahead of the likes of Nicolas Pepe and Willian while Alexandre Lacazette, who unused in Gunners last two games should lead the attacks against City this evening.

Arsenal Predicted XI: Leno; Bellerin, Luiz, Gabriel, Tierney; Ceballos, Xhaka; Saka, Odegaard, Smith Rowe; Lacazette
